General Purpose Epoxy 15kg Resin and Coating

PCG General Purpose Epoxy is a clear, solvent free, liquid epoxy resin system designed as a true general purpose epoxy resin for a variety of applications, including:

• Flooring: Can be used for creating flake floors, solid colour floors, and decorative floors using pigments and metallic powders.
• Benchtops and Counters: Ideal for creating durable and aesthetically pleasing surfaces.
• Embedment’s: Suitable for embedding objects such as bottle tops, corks, pebbles, mosaic tiles, and coins in resin.
• Furniture: Used in the creation of resin tables, and for finishing reclaimed wood and driftwood
• Art and Coating: Excellent for coating photographs, artwork, puzzles, decoupage projects, and creating resin art.
• Structural Reinforcement: Can be used for strengthening beams, columns, and slabs in buildings. Note: Consult with a structural engineer to ensure suitability for specific structural applications and compliance with relevant Australian Standards.

General Purpose epoxy is crystal clear with high optical clarity, tintable for more decorative applications. Used in our SuperFlake system GP Epoxy is a economical primer and base coat allowing for rapid wet on wet prime then broadcast coat application to shorten project times. Can also be used as a two coat epoxy roll coat application with UV resistance.

• 2:1 mix ratio by weight
• Coverage 0.15 - 1kg per m2 to suit the system being installed
• Cured for flake reclaim and scraping in 12hrs 
• Cured for light traffic in 10hrs
• Full cure in 24-48hrs, full chemical resistance in 7 days
• Recoat 4hrs up to 24hrs
• Pot life 25minutes (7kg batch)
